The Cabaret Room goes Country with special guest Melinda Schneider

It's cabaret in all its guises, and this week cabaret goes country when the beautiful Melinda Schneider is our special guest. We'll play three tracks from Melinda's chart topping CD, Melinda does Doris, A Tribute to Doris Day. Melinda has written a song called "Hands Across Australia" in support of Generation One. Cabaret Songstress Emma Dean joins us

Described as a neurotic cabaret songstress, Brisbane based Emma Dean is our special guest in The Cabaret Room this Sunday evening from 9pm. Emma is coming to Melbourne to launch her new CD called "Dr Dream and the Imaginary Pop-Cabaret". Something special: an interview with Illusionist Simon Taylor

Something very special on The Cabaret Room at 9pm tomorrow night. I'll be speaking to mind reader and illusionist Simon Taylor (pictured) who is presenting a show called Pieces of Mind at The Butterfly Club next week. I'll also be chatting to Emma Clair Ford, the Festival Director of Short+Sweet Cabaret 2010. Our featured composer is Amanda McBroom, and I'll be playing tracks by the sensational Nancy LaMott and Combo Fiasco.
